Early Life
Pitt grew up in Springfield, Missouri, and studied journalism at the University of Missouri before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
Career
After a breakout role in Thelma & Louise (1991), he starred in A River Runs Through It, Interview with the Vampire, Se7en, Fight Club, Ocean's Eleven, Troy and Moneyball. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).
Legacy
Through his production company Plan B Entertainment, Pitt helped bring three Best Picture winners to the screen: The Departed, 12 Years a Slave and Moonlight.
