Early Life
Djokovic began playing tennis at age four in the Serbian mountain resort of Kopaonik and left home as a teenager to train at academies in Germany.
Career
He won his first major at the 2008 Australian Open. By the end of 2025 he had won 10 Australian Open titles, seven at Wimbledon, four U.S. Opens and three French Opens.
Legacy
Djokovic holds the record for the most weeks ranked No. 1 in men's tennis. He completed the Career Golden Slam by winning Olympic gold in singles at the Paris 2024 Games.
