Early Life
Born in Taiwan, Han and his family moved to the United States when he was four years old. Han enjoyed programming from an early age, writing code for the Apple II computer and programming the Radio Shack TRS-80.
Han graduated third in his class at Palo Alto High School and received his Bachelor's degree in computer science from UC Berkeley and his Master's degree from Stanford University.
Career
Han first worked at Wink Communications, which programmed software for set top boxes for the cable industry.
Later Han founded the domain name registrar Dynadot in 2002 under the name INamePro, LLC. In 2003 Han changed the name of the company to Dynadot. Han said that during the first few years he took over many of the responsibilities of running the company and the website, hiring the first employee in 2005, before the team grow to over 100 people.
Legacy
Today Dynadot, based out of San Mateo, California, with offices in Zhengzhou, Beijing, and Toronto, is considered one of the largest domain registrars in the world, with millions of domain names registered.
